Efficiently Moving Explosive Materials
IPS designed and built bomb transport carts for the U.S. Army to transport and position bombs from the loading dock through the various production operations. One cart held one 2,000-pound bomb and another cart held two 500 pound bombs. The bombs were loaded and unloaded into the carts using an overhead hoist. The cart made it easy for one operator to transport the bombs throughout the building and to position them to any angle from horizontal to vertical.
