Small Batch Formulation System
This system uses three different sizes of small stainless steel kettles (10 kettles in total) to apply plastic coating to organic crystals. Agitators in the kettles are speed controlled with air motors. The kettles are heated or cooled as required in the appropriate steps with hot or cold water. The hot water is heated with a steam heat exchanger, and the amount of heat is regulated with a steam control valve. The system also includes an air sweep system that removes vapors from the kettle area during loading and unloading. A vapor recovery system condenses and weighs reclaimed solvents from the kettles.
